Muskegon County Republican Party Executive Committee Chair Zach Lahring appointed Committee Member Lyn Sample from Cedar Creek Township to fill the party's vacant treasurer position. The position was formally held by Michael Del Percio of Laketon Township, who died from a Covid-19 infection on April 22, 2021.
Malinda Pego, Vice Chair of the party, and Chair of the finance committee has been filling in for treasurer duties during the vacancy. The Executive Committee is deeply appreciative of her help during this transition and congratulates Lyn Sample on her new position. Thank you both!
About Lyn Sample
Lyn has over 25 years in retail office administration, including positions as Head Cashier, Credit Manager, and Office Manager. Her responsibilities have included daily cash balancing/reconciliation, credit accounting and balancing, and debt collection. She is a Disciple of Jesus Christ, raised in a Christian conservative home by parents that served the Lord and led by example. Both parents were “doers”, and she believes she inherited that trait.
“As treasurer of the Muskegon County GOP, I hope to instill the qualities of honesty, integrity, and faith in the one true Power--cornerstones of my personal values and strengths.”
